We are seeking Packers and Material Handlers to join our team in a Wood Reel manufacturing plant. You will be responsible for handling or packing raw materials and/or staging finished goods. These jobs are temp to perm with full benefits and pay increase once perm.
Responsibilities:
While reporting to the Supervisor, as the Packer, you will be responsible for collaborating and contributing to the production environment within the manufacturing operations
Collaborating closely with departments and plant teams to complete basic manufacturing
Packs product into boxes, retrieves product from equipment and operates machinery
Making incremental process adjustments, monitor and report quality of manufactured products
Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills to setup new production jobs
Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area
Assists other departments as needed
Working hours: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Skills:
In-depth knowledge of packing and shipping procedures
Good knowledge of basic arithmetic: addition, subtraction, division and multiplication
Ability to work in a fast-paced, environment for long hours
organizational skills

Good communication skills
Education:
No Degree Required
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
You have previous manufacturing experience and/or training
Read and comprehend standard work instructions, math and measuring
An individual looking to advance with a high school diploma or GED
Working independently and managing multiple tasks simultaneously is needed
Being reliable, having good initiative, being committed, and being quality-focused is a must
